About LESA UK

LESA is an alumni of Our Lady of Lourdes College, formerly Our Lady of Lourdes Secondary School, Mankon, Bamenda, in the North West Region of Cameroon. The UK-based group was founded in September 2004 after a consultation with ex-students in April 2004.  We, its members, are resident in the UK and voluntarily adhere to the common goals of unity, love and service.  We seek to support the individual development of members and contribute to the welfare of the alma mater.

We are a group of dynamic and pro-active women united in bonds of sisterhood and we strive to enhance our lives and the lives of our communities so that we can all attain our highest potential. We strongly encourage and welcome all ex-students of the College with open arms, embracing our varied gifts, experiences and paths in life.

In order for LESA UK to fully engage in its objective of undertaking humanitarian and philanthropic projects, LESA UK created and registered LESA UK Charity in September 2008 whose aim it is to carry out charitable projects, predominantly in Cameroon, both for Our Lady of Lourdes College and for the community at large.
